You might have heard / read about the fact that Georges quit his job as one of the big, big bosses of Richmont to become the new CEO of Breitling.

Have you ever asked yourself why someone is doing this?

Being one of the most powerful managers in the watch-industry, quitting this position to become the CEO of only one relatively small company / brand?

This Breitling Chronoliner B04 chronograph vintage-style type in blue and not black (!) is a good example for a Breitling I would like to see more often in the future.

Do you agree if I write: We have recently seen to many all-black, martial, “military” watches from Breitling – too many watches for Special Forces & Co.

With its two superimposed central chronograph hands, of which one can be stopped, by pushing the push-piece being integrated in the crown, so as to measure an intermediate (split) time, before “catching up” (= rattraper in French), by again pushing the push-piece being integrated in the crown, with the first one still sweeping onwards, the split-seconds chronograph is considered one of the most sophisticated watchmaking mechanisms to create.
