31 Baselworld 2017 novelties that really impressed me.

Why 31? That´s the number I counted when finishing my choice and putting the story together.

Please do not expect a product listing of ticking superlatives here or a ranking of the most expensive / crazy watches.

What I will show you instead are watches that really impressed me – 31 in total. Either through their good and cool design, technical realization, impeccable quality and/or reasonable price.

The watch brands featured are:

Blancpain, Breguet, Breitling, Bulgari, Certina, Chanel, Chopard, Frédérique Constant, Glashütte Original, H. Moser & Cie., Hamilton, Harry Winston, Hermès, Hublot, Longines, Mido, Nomos, Omega, Patek Philippe, Porsche Design, Rado, Rolex, TAG Heuer, Tudor and Zenith.

Tudor Heritage Black Bay Steel

Baselworld 2017: Tudor Heritage Black Bay Steel

This authentic steel look enriches the Heritage Black Bay collection! The overall shape, as well as the domed dial and crystal, come from the first Tudor divers’ watches. The prominent winding crown and the red triangle of the bezel are features of the famous reference 7924 from 1958, the first Tudor watch to be waterproof to 200 metres, dubbed the Big Crown.

Tudor Black Bay Chronograph

Baselworld 2017: Tudor Black Bay Chronograph

Let me cry out loud THIS IS A COOL WATCH! I did not expect to see this chronograph tonight as an exclusive premiere even one day before the press-day of Baselworld 2017. Well done Tudor! An inhouse developed column-wheel chronograph with Silicon-Hairspring and COSC-certificate for 4500 respective 4800 CHF with the steel bracelet. WOW!
