BVLGARI Octo Finissimo. The making-of cases for an iconic wristwatch. PART 2 of 2.

@bulgari
Behind the scenes (Part TWO) of the Bvlgari “Octo Finissimo” cases and dials! We are sure: the beautiful name “Octo Finissimo” alone is enough to get you in the mood, and we haven’t even mentioned the in-house manufactured dials and cases yet.

But it is precisely the latter that are the subject of another two behind the scene 4K-videos…

We were in Saignelégier in the Swiss Jura, where Bvlgari designs and manufactures its own cases and dials. The Bvlgari Manufacture has a very high level of vertical integration, with only a few components for the cases and dials being bought in from suppliers. What was equally exciting for us to discover is the general smallness of these parts.

This is a veritable watchmaking mini mundus!

As we all know, the name “Octo Finissimo” stands for ultra-flat watches equipped with equally ultra-flat movements.

Bvlgari has already been able to present eight world records with these ultra-flat movements and watches.

Now we at WatchAdviser hope you enjoy watching the two videos and I am already looking forward to your hopefully numerous comments…
