Girard-Perregaux’s history is marked by watchmaking tradition and innovative technologies. It is one of the few watchmakers able to unite all the skills of design and manufacture under the same roof. Even if the brand has launched an incredibly high diversity of timepieces over the years, it never lost its DNA and always respected its roots. In the world of watchmaking, it is always a difficult task to depict your vision and beliefs through your products. About the Models

Bridges

This collection takes us back in 1860 when Constant Girard crafted a timepiece that won the first prize at the Neuchâtel Observatory. Obsessed by tourbillons, he devoted many years of his life in designing and redesigning several escapement systems. Ultimately, three bridges were created as a functional element of the watch. Girard-Perregaux thought that these bridges could also be used as an aesthetic element, and he was right! Today, the Bridges collection is one of the most iconic of the brand and is instantly recognizable.

Laureato

In 1975, when luxury sports watches were on the rise, Girard-Perregaux decided to present a new collection: the Laureato. At the time, the whole industry was in the middle of the quartz crisis and Girard-Perregaux took this opportunity to create its own in-house quartz movement, equipped in the first Laureato. This is why this collection is so special for Girard-Perregaux, it kept the brand above water while many others were sinking because of the crisis. Over the years, Girard-Perregaux expanded its collection and added mechanical movements to the Laureato line. Today, it is still considered as a very reliable, robust and versatile timepiece.

1966

1966 is a year to remember for the brand as it presented its first high-frequency watch movement. Beating at a rate of 36’000 vibrations per hour, this movement reminds us of the brand’s philosophy, of Girard-Perregaux commitment to innovation. The 1966 is characterized by a flat bezel and a round case. Together, these two design elements create a timeless watch, a timepiece for people who appreciate understated excellence.

Cat`s Eye

Girard-Perregaux shows once again its talent of creating unique watches with the Cat`s Eye collection. Presented in 2004, it is composed of seductive and mysterious timepieces, feline and magical. The Cat`s Eye collection is a statement of pure excellence, fine watchmaking, and intense history.

Vintage 1945

The Vintage 1945 is rooted in the rich history of Girard-Perregaux. Inspired by the Art Deco artistic movement, the collection is composed of squared timepieces, elegant but manly in their sizes. Since 2015, the Vintage 1945 is also available in a variation equipped with the iconic three bridges of Girard-Perregaux.
