Bulgari

WatchAdvisor.com is glad to introduce you a new series of articles aiming at improving your understanding and knowledge of the watch industry. Each week, we will have the pleasure to present in detail a brand and its collections, and in order for you to pick the watch of your dream, we will also provide a selection of our 10 favorite watches. This week, we cover the brand with a touch of Dolce Vita – Bulgari!

What does the Brand stand for?

Founded in Rome in 1884 by a jeweler named Sotirios Voulgaris, Bulgari has become a symbol of Italian excellence. Over the years, the brand has gained incredible knowledge in almost all fields of luxury such as jewelry, watches, leather goods, and fragrances.

Bulgari really became famous between the 50s and 60s, when Hollywood actors decided to come to Cinecittà (the Italian Hollywood) in Rome, to act in some of the most famous romantic movies of all time. The Dolce Vita’s years as we can call them really empowered the brand to inscribe its name in the pantheon of the luxury industry.

What interests us, in particular, is the Bulgari’s subsidiary responsible for watches. Located in Neuchâtel, it enables the brand to develop its own calibers and to achieve a high level of manufacturing quality. All Bulgari’s watches have one thing in common: they combine Italian design and Swiss manufacturing.

If you like to be at the forefront of design and elegance, then Bulgari is made for you.

About the Models

Octo

Characterized by its octagonal design, the Octo collection is a symbol of the Bulgari’s man. Bold, precise and splendid, these models constitute the best value you can get from the brand. With its extra thin mechanical movement, the Octo Finissimo is definitely the flagship and most impressive model of the brand.

LVCEA

The LVCEA adds a glamorous touch to everyday life. The unique design of the bracelet makes it instantly recognizable, and desirable. Designed for the contemporary woman, these models are versatile and will adapt to every situation.

Bvlgari Bvlgari

Inspired by the coins of ancient Rome, the Bulgari Bulgari honored the Roman roots of the brand. Combining modern design and traditional watchmaking, the round case and the bezel’s inscription transformed this collection into an icon of the watch industry.

Serpenti

Reminding us of a snake curling around a wrist, the Serpenti is a peculiar collection. Like its totem animal, it knows how to stay mysterious and elegant at the same time. The Serpenti collection is also the combination of Bulgari’s identity: its love for colors, precious materials, and fine watchmaking.

Divas’ Dream

The Diva’s Dream honors women in all their femininity. The brand’s experience and know-how in jewelry are used in this collection to create timepieces of infinite beauty and elegance. Like the modern woman, the Divas’ Dream is never boring and will surely enchant your everyday life.

B.zero 1

The B.zero 1 is the result of Bulgari’s strong desire for differentiation. Encompassing all the capabilities the brand has to offer, this collection is today at the forefront of Bulgari’s offering.
