Hands-on: The Longines Heritage Military 1938

Today I invite to discover this new 43 mm hand-wound Longines Heritage Military 1938 wristwatch numbered & limited to 1938 pieces…

It is a beautiful, contemporary replica of a wristwatch sold to the Czech Army by Longines in 1938. The Heritage Military 1938 is powered by the 3 Hz (21.600 A/h), 36,6 mm ETA 6498/2 calibre with a power reserve of 53 hours – the former legendary Unitas pocket watch calibre. The domed sapphire crystal with multi-layered anti-reflective coating protects the matt black dial with its “baton”-style hands and its cream-colored Arabic numerals. The readability couldn’t be better! The 43 mm steel case is waterproof up to 30 meters. The Longines Heritage Military 1938 is available with a patinated charcoal grey leather strap and a cognac-coloured NATO-style leather strap. A tool included in the case makes it easy to interchange them.
