Linde Werdelin creates meticulously crafted mechanical timepieces with attachable digital sports instruments for diving and free skiing. Founded in 2002 by Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin and launched in 2006, Linde Werdelin brings Swiss craftsmanship and Danish design ingenuity together with avant-garde instrument technology. Linde Werdelin has redefined what a sports timepiece can be. In combining mechanical and digital technologies while retaining the integrity of each, Linde Werdelin manufactures a unique interpretation of a sports timepiece for use with digital instruments, to amplify the sporting experience whether high in the mountains or deep in the sea. All Linde Werdelin timepieces are made in Geneva, Switzerland working together with the best possible craftsmen for each part of the timepieces. The Linde Werdelin diving and free-skiing instruments are hand-made in-house in Copenhagen, Denmark. Linde Werdelin produces all its timepieces in small limited series and has a production in 2012 of 500 pieces. Linde Werdelin is one of only few truly independent watchmakers and is certainly the only one to combine mechanical with digital technologies. The company was started by the two founders and is still entirely managed and owned by them and their immediate families.
