What does the Brand stand for?

Glashütte was founded in 1846 in the small town of Glashütte, in Germany, by Friedrich A. Lange. From that moment, the brand never failed to its reputation of high-quality watches manufacturer. After integrating the Swatch Group in 2000, the brand is still honoring its Saxony’s origins and embraces the German values of quality, reliability, and precision. Being one of the main “Made in Germany” representatives of the watch industry, the company takes to heart the production of its own in-house movements. Glashütte also recognizes the importance of watchmaking school and the formation of youth talents as a key success factor for its future.
