Franck Muller is glad to introduce you a new series of articles aiming at improving your understanding and knowledge of the watch industry. Each week, we will have the pleasure to present in detail a brand and its collections, and in order for you to pick the watch of your dream, we will also provide a selection of our 10 favorite watches. This week, we cover an exclusive and daring brand – Franck Muller!

What does the Brand stand for?

Franck Muller has always been passionate about watches. Having studied watchmaking and being gifted with incredible technical skills, it was only a matter of time until he would launch its own brand. This precisely happened after he met Vartan Sirmakes. Together, they created in 1991 the brand Franck Muller, and would soon become a recognized player of the industry.

Characterized by their exclusivity, Franck Muller’s timepieces combine fine watchmaking, the complications of Haute Horlogerie, with original and innovative designs. The founders’ pioneering spirit also materializes itself on the brand’s production site. Indeed, the Watchland is a unique area near Geneva, enabling Franck Muller to control the several manufacturing stages at the same location.

If you are looking for a bold statement, for a timepiece that will amaze you every time you look at it, then you have found your brand.

About the Models

Cintrée Curvex

Being the most emblematic collection of the brand, the Cintrée Curvex lays the foundations of Franck Muller’s design codes. Instantly identifiable, it is an elegant timepiece with intricate movements and complications. The Cintrée Curvex is the perfect combination of contemporary and visionary design with state-of-the-art Haute Horlogerie.

Long Island

All elements of this collection are directed towards the same ambition: the homage to Art Deco. Being one of the passions of Franck Muller, this artistic movement has inspired the brand to create a beautiful rectangular timepiece. The elegant Arab numerals on the dial add a vintage touch and are now instantly linked to this specific collection. The Long Island is the perfect companion for every gentleman.

Master Square

The Master Square is the purest collection of Franck Muller. Inspired by his passion for the Art Deco movement, the Master Square is elegant and harmonious. Its square case and Roman numerals give the watch a unique visual equilibrium. Still, this harmony is combined with a strong character that will surely please to every watch lover.

With the Round collection, Franck Muller goes back to the roots of watchmaking: a classic case with a wonderful movement. Some might say that this collection looks too simplistic, however, it is the inside that matter the most here. Equipped with the whole range of movements watchmakers are able to produce, i.e. from the fundamental mechanical movements to incredibly advanced complications, the Round collection honors Franck Muller’s tastes and skills in all its glory.

The Vanguard collection enabled Franck Muller to make a fresh start and to explore a new direction. Its design takes the codes of sports watches, such as integrated straps, while always respecting the elegance and innovation inherent to the brand. Daring and intrepid, the Vanguard does not go unnoticed and is definitely made for the modern gentleman.
