Swiss tool watch specialist Fortis has just added two new 44-mm versions with “Dianoir” DLC coating to its Marinemaster dive watch collection, the M-44 “Black Resin” (Ref. F8120031) with a completely black case and gold-colored hands, and the M-44 “Gravity Black” (Ref. F8120030) with silver-colored hands, partially coated case and white lume.
“Made to inspire the wearer to shift down a few gears, the new Marinemaster features the […] the most gripping and functional tool watch bezel ever designed. The M-44 is equipped with a bidirectional Gear Bezel and features the Fortis Lock System.” – Fortis
The 44-mm stainless steel case is water resistant to 500 meters and measures 48 mm in lenght (lug-to-lug).
For the automatic movement of the 44-mm version of the Martinemaster, Fortis has teamed up with Kenissi in 2021. The chronometer-certified caliber offers 70 hours of power reserve and a black date disc (with the 13 executed in bright orange each month). The bi-directional bezel can be secured with the crown at 10 o’clock.
For those wondering: for the pattern on the dial and rubber strap, Fortis replicated the “O” from the logotype.
